About hplcsimulator.org

This website is a free resource for anyone interested in simulating liquid chromatography. The open-source HPLC simulator is intended to make it easier to get a feel for the relationship that important system parameters have on chromatographic separations. The simulator, along with the other resources offered here, are designed to be useful to researchers, students, and educators.

The HPLC simulator originally started as an Excel spreadsheet that Peter Carr, professor of chemistry at the University of Minnesota, created as a tool for his students. Dwight Stoll, assistant professor of chemistry at Gustavus Adolphus College (St. Peter, MN) and Paul Boswell, research assistant professor at the University of Minnesota, created a web-based version of the HPLC simulator.

We invite any questions, suggestions, or other feedback on the forum.
